Easy Breezy Lemon Squeezy
For this poster I originally imagined an airy look instead of a more summer inspired look. The letters in the hair used to say "airy" and the colors were much more light to captivate the airy, sky look. However, overtime I changed it to a more summertime look The cool colors on the hair compliments the bright yellows and oranges in the background. I changed the text to "Easy Breezy" in the hair because I imagined wind going through her hair during summer. I had her skin more tan asThe lemons around her were so that it looks more summery and the radio rays around were also to make it look more like summer. I had trouble with the "Lemon Squeezy" text because it was blending into the background; however, I put a light blue backdrop in order to make it more legible and it created a better contrast as well.

Cherry Bomb
For this artwork I wanted to try a different style. O was interested in the comic ben day process; a process where you use small colored dots in order to create shading and color to images. I made the background as the ben day process to create a comic effect and used thick strokes around all of my shapes and letters. I incorporated drop shadows for all of my shapes and letters for detail and used many colors that stand out because many comics have colorful illustrations. I drew a spikey background to make it more like a "cherry bomb" and used a magenta drop shadow to make it pop. I played around with the colors and my initial thought process had less detail which made it more 2D. By adding more details: drop shadow, color contrast, and the ben day effect, it gave it more life.

She Kills Monsters
This Poster was for the Beckman Theater play "She Kills Monsters". My client wanted a poster for the play that had the four-headed dragon from the story. I drew a silhouette of a dragon each alternating in black and white to give it more contrast. The sword in flames is the sword the main protagonist uses in order to slay the dragon in the play. I used Pixelated texts in some parts to make it seem more game/fantasy-like because in the story the characters are playing DND. I used serif as well to go with the pixel text and colored the text red to make it stand out from the rest of the colors.

Client Logo: Ami-Nation
For this project, my client wanted to make a logo for her small business. Her business was crocheting cute dolls and other accessories. She wanted a cute mascot to go with her packaging and an overall pink look. I used a script font that is very bubbly to match the look she wanted. I also created a sheep mascot for her business because sheep make yarn and yarn are used for crocheting. I have made thank you cards, business cards, letters, and envelopes for her small business.

Traditional Food
This project was about tradition; we would cook our traditional family/ethnic food and create a pattern art piece to go with it. My food was sakura mochi; a dish you would eat as dessert at a picnic while celebrating spring under cherry blossom trees. I thought of a traditional Japanese pattern and use that pattern to create a piece for my picture. I designed it through adobe Illustrator, created a template, and painted my pattern on a piece of fabric using the template. Then I went outside to take a picture of my dish; I went to a grassy area to make it feel like a picnic. The bright colors on my patterns will pop out and complement the green grass. After taking the photo, I put it through photoshop, added text, and finished it off.
